TEMPE, AZ -- The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation announced an award of $5 million to Arizona State University to expand its entrepreneurship program university-wide. The grant is part of the Kauffman Foundation's Campuses Initiative begun in 2003 to foster the creation of entrepreneurship education programs. The other school awarded a $5 million grant was the University of Wisconsin. Other schools received grants between $1 million and $3 million. Schools are selected based on criteria that includes the ability to create a culture of entrepreneurship and the ability to partner with other funders and foundations.
